In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Sussex Central Golden Knights basketball team scored a close 63-58 win over the Polytech Panthers.
The Golden Knights (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE). The Vikings come into the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Cape Henlopen was tipped by Milford (Milford, DE), 38-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern contest, on Thursday, February 6. Polytech will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 67-56 league win over Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE).
