In Thursday's non-league test, the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball squad trounced the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), by a score of 67-18.
Next, the Elks/Elkettes encounter the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 18. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Pintos come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM).
The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Moriarty was routed by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 54-43, in a non-league test.
