Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 49-29 in a league match.
With the victory, Heyworth upgrades its record to 13-16 on the year.
The Bunnies now sport a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Ridge for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Fisher will face a Knights squad coming off a 40-26 non-league loss to Urbana University (Urbana, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-17.
