The Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) basketball were winner over the visiting Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), 56-44 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Golden Bears now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Marys for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Oak Glen will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 37-34 non-league win over Gilmer County (Glenville, WV). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Weir falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Red riders host Brooke (Wellsburg, WV) to play the Bruins in a Two Rivers bout on Monday, February 17. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 0-18. Brooke lost 63-28 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV)
