The Barron Collier Cougars lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Marco Island Academy Rays to 5 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Aubrey Rogers for a 1A D12 challenge on Tuesday, February 18. Barron Collier will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 12-9 league win over Estero (Estero, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Marco Island Academy falls to 0-1 on the year. The Rays travel to Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 17. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
