The Barron Collier Cougars lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Marco Island Academy Rays to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Community School of Naples for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. Barron Collier will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Marco Island Academy falls to 5-3 on the year.
