With the win, Cobre upgrades its record to 9-16 on the season. The Indians host Socorro (Socorro, NM) to clash with the Warriors in a 3A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-15. Socorro won 47-42 in their recent league bout against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a 3A District 3 bout, on Friday, February 17. Hatch Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 47-42 league loss to Socorro (Socorro, NM).
