New Mexico High School Basketball - Hatch Valley can't hold off Cobre

The Cobre Indians basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hatch Valley Bears to 44 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hot Springs for a 3A District 3 contest on Friday, February 10. Cobre will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-69 league loss to Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 14-8.
The Bears (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors come into the 3A District 3 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Socorro edged Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM), 74-69, in a league contest.
