The Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) basketball nipped the host Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL), 70-64 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets (10-19) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 11-19 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way West got by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 47-44, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they host Plainfield Central for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Willowbrook will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 63-53 league loss to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-22.
