In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), by a margin of 86-46.

The Chiefs (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders go into the Berkshire outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Northwestern Regional smashed Terryville (Terryville, CT), 65-40, in a league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Thomaston for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17. Housatonic-Wamogo will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 53-52 league loss to Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Bears record now stands at 5-15.
