In Tuesday's non-league match, the host South Paulding Spartans basketball team scored a tight 56-55 triumph over the New Manchester Jaguar.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 16. South Paulding will attempt to move on its 20-6 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 18-7 record after their 56-52 league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
With the defeat, New Manchester moves to 10-17 on the year.
