The South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS), 48-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (17-9) will now prepare for their test against Quitman (Quitman, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Quitman got by Columbia (Columbia, MS), 68-44, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 20-10 record.
