The Traverse City Central Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Alpena Wildcats to 31 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaylord for a Big North contest on Friday, February 17. Traverse City Central will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-31 league win over Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-8.
The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI). The Titans enter the Big North contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Traverse City West was defeated by Ludington (Ludington, MI), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
