St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT), 47-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Johnsbury Academy upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Essex (Essex Junction, VT) to play the Hornets in a Metro bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Essex won 50-26 in their recent non-league bout against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT)

Next up, the Green Knights play the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Rice Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
