Virginia High School Basketball - Radford topped by Floyd County

The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Radford Bobcats to 41 in the Buffaloes league victory on Wednesday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Floyd County will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 82-73 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 21-1.
The Bobcats (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Glenvar prevailed over Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 73-51, in a league contest.
