The Heide Trask Titans basketball team (Rocky Point, NC), dropped 37-27 in Wednesday's league battle with the host South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC)

The Stallions now possess a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whiteville for a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Friday, February 16. South Columbus will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 56-26 league loss to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 7-12.

The Titans (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots come into the 1A/2A Waccamaw battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Pender beat West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 54-16, in a league battle.
