The Heide Trask Titans basketball team (Rocky Point, NC), was nudged 29-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC)
The Stallions now possess a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Columbus for a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Friday, February 9. South Columbus will confront a Vikings team coming off a 64-16 league loss to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-12.
The Titans (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Waccamaw battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, East Bladen edged West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 64-16, in a league battle.
