In Wednesday's league challenge, the Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) ice hockey team nudged the host Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA), by a margin of 2-1.

The Penguins now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dexter Southfield for a challenge on Saturday, February 17. Cushing Academy will clash with a team coming off a 1-1 league New Hampton School (New Hampton, NH). The record now stands at 12-8.

The Big Green (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Hotchkiss School was edged by Kent School (Kent, CT), 4-1, in a league challenge.
