The Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), 46-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Demons (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Manzano got by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 51-31, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Capital for a contest on Saturday, February 17. Los Lunas will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 54-52 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-10.
