The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonoraville for a non-league outing on Monday, February 17. Model will battle a Phoenix squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-3.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Wolverines come into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Dade County toppled Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 12-1, in a non-league outing.
