The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the host Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), saw Model's baseball team gain a win over Murray County by a tally of 13-0.

The Blue Devils (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-I Area 6 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Darlington gained a win over Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Murray County drops to 2-6 on the year. The Indians travel to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Ridgeland won 12-4 in their recent non-league challenge against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)
