With the victory, Pierce County advances its record to 9-14 on the year. The Bears travel to Union County (Blairsville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 22-5. Union County lost 76-58 in their recent non-league match against North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA)

The Pirates now own a 9-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Appling County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Westside (Macon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-6.
