In Friday's league contest, the visiting Westville Tigers basketball team scored a good 67-51 triumph over the Armstrong Trojans.

The Tigers (25-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Vermilion Valley contest with a 28-1 record. In their last contest, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was topped by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 67-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a Vermilion Valley contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Armstrong will attempt to better on its 21-9 season record. The Buffaloes go into the contest with a 4-25 record after their 56-47 league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
