Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 77-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Union County upgrades its record to 22-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 22-3. North Cobb Christian won 75-46 in their recent league match against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA)

The Warriors now sport a 17-9 record.
