The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carl Albert Titans (Midwest City, OK) and the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), observed Carl Albert's basketball team overwhelm Elgin by a score of 70-35.

The Titans (24-1) will now prepare for their challenge against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 19-2 record. In their last challenge, El Reno trounced Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK), 71-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Owls encounter the Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Monday, February 17. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 15-0 league loss to MacArthur (Lawton, OK).
