In Friday's league test, the Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) basketball squad trounced the visiting Emporia Spartans (Emporia, KS), by a score of 66-25.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) in a Centennial test, on Tuesday, February 18. Hayden will attempt to improve on its 17-1 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 10-6 record after their 64-52 league loss to Topeka (Topeka, KS).

The Spartans (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Blues come into the Centennial test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Washburn Rural bounced Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS), 71-13, in a non-league test.
