West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston can't get by Independence

The South Charleston Black Eagles basketball squad (South Charleston, WV), was nudged 52-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

With the victory, Independence advances its record to 6-12 on the year. The Patriots travel to Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 4-9. Liberty lost 63-33 in their recent league battle against WestSide (Clear Fork, WV)

The Black Eagles now own a 7-10 record.
