Fans at Friday's league battle between the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) and the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), saw Cleburne's soccer squad triumph over Seguin by a count of 8-0.

The Yellowjackets (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans go into the 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Centennial overcame Burleson (Burleson, TX), 7-0, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Seguin moves to 4-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX) to encounter the Jaguars in a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Friday, February 21. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Mansfield Summit won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Everman (Everman, TX)
