Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 75-63 in a league bout.
With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 10-20 on the season.
Next up, the Redhawks clash with the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 16. Naperville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-8 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 9-16 record after their 79-51 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL).
