With the victory, Rio Hondo improves its record to 21-11 on the campaign.

Next up, the Red Ants confront the Vanguard Academy Rembrandt Spartans (Pharr, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Progreso will attempt to improve on its 26-10 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 49-23 league win over Idea Academy (Donna, TX).
