The Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), 66-54 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lightning (21-8) will now prepare for their test against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league test with a 28-0 record. In their last test, Sierra Canyon notched a victory over Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA), 80-18, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 20-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ontario Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, February 18. Bishop Montgomery will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 80-18 non-league loss to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Knights record now stands at 26-4.
