The Clarke County Eagles basketball team (Berryville, VA), was toppled 42-33 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strasburg for a Bull Run battle on Friday, February 17. Luray will confront a Rams team coming off a 47-35 league win over Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Rams record now stands at 19-6.
The Eagles (19-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, Stuarts Draft was toppled by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 68-34, in a league battle.
