The Mavericks (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs come into the 2A District 3 battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Mescalero Apache beat Capitan (Capitan, NM), 56-52, in a league battle.
