Malta Mustangs (Malta, MT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fairview Warriors (Fairview, MT), 67-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Malta upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Warriors play the Wolf Point Wolves (Wolf Point, MT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Poplar (Poplar, MT).
