Fairview Warriors (Fairview, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Malta Mustangs (Malta, MT), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Poplar (Poplar, MT) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Poplar won 71-66 in their recent non-league bout against Glasgow (Glasgow, MT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, MT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. Malta will attempt to upgrade on its 19-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, MT).
