Texas High School Basketball - Maypearl can't hold off Grandview

The Grandview Zebras basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Maypearl Panthers to 44 in the Zebras league victory on Thursday.
The Zebras now sport a 17-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clifton for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, February 16. Grandview will battle a Cubs team coming off a 55-44 league loss to Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 20-12.
The Panthers (16-18) will now prepare for their contest against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 22-3 record. In their last contest, Palmer nudged Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 56-50, in a league match.
