The Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) basketball nipped the host Latexo Tigers (Latexo, TX), 58-55 in Thursday's league test.
The Indians (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 29-4 record. In their last test, Martins Mill got by Slidell (Slidell, TX), 53-44, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 12-22 record.
