Kansas High School Basketball - Jefferson County North thwarts Jackson Heights

The Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Jackson Heights Cobras (Holton, KS), 67-55 in Thursday's league test.

The Chargers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS). The Dragons go into the Northeast Kansas test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Valley Falls went down by Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS), 51-35, in a non-league test.

The Cobras now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to McLouth for a Northeast Kansas test on Friday, February 16. Jackson Heights will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-7 non-league loss to Atchison County (Effingham, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-17.
