The Spartans (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region 3 District 21 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Willowridge tipped Brazosport (Freeport, TX), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 21 battle, on Thursday, February 20. Sweeny will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-12 record after their 6-0 league loss to Columbia (West Columbia, TX).
