The Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) basketball nipped the host Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR), 59-57 in Wednesday's league test.
The Panthers (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Grizzlies go into the 6A Central test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Northside was tipped by North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 77-45, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Little Rock for a 6A Central test on Saturday, February 19. Bryant will encounter a Charging Wildcats squad coming off a 77-45 league win over Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Charging Wildcats record now stands at 22-3.
