The Mitchell County Eagles crushed the visiting Baker County Bears baseball team by a count of 15-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dougherty for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. Mitchell County will face a Trojans team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Westover (Albany, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Bears face the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Baker County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Bacon County (Alma, GA).
