Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy nipped by Jenkins County

February 16, 2023: Millen, GA 30442

The Jenkins County War Eagles tipped the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers basketball team by a final score of 50-48 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the War Eagles face the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 game, on Friday, February 17. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 21-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 25-1 record after their 88-52 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA).

With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy moves to 12-15 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, February 17. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 11-16. Montgomery County lost 88-52 in their recent non-league game against Portal (Portal, GA)
