In Thursday's league outing, the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), by a margin of 39-28.
The Demons (10-15) will now prepare for their outing against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 1-21 record. In their last outing, Rio Grande was beaten by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 44-34, in a league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 6-19 record. They play next when they host Manzano for a 5A District 5 outing on Saturday, February 18. Capital will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 41-32 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-13.
