Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI), 61-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Brimley upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Bays travel to Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI) to play the Swordsmen in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Swordsmen go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Harbor Light Christian lost 51-45 in their recent league bout against Alanson (Alanson, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the East Jordan Red Devils (East Jordan, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Pickford will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 58-42 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI).
