Georgia High School Basketball - Hancock Central winner over Wilkinson County

February 16, 2024: Irwinton, GA 31042

The Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA) basketball felled the host Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA), 66-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Cobras go into the A D2 Region 5 test with a 14-14 record. In their last test, Twiggs County thwarted Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 63-48, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Johnson County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 17. Wilkinson County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 63-48 league loss to Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-13.
