Vermont High School Basketball - West Rutland knocked off by Long Trail

The Long Trail basketball team scored 53 points and held the host West Rutland Golden Horde to 45 in the league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Proctor for a Southern Vermont - D contest on Wednesday, February 21. Long Trail will meet a Phantoms team coming off a 70-45 league win over Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Phantoms record now stands at 13-6.
The Golden Horde (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Craftsbury Academy (Craftsbury Common, VT). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Craftsbury Academy was outscored by Twinfield (Plainfield, VT), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
