In Friday's league match, the host Putnam Clippers basketball team scored a good 63-48 triumph over the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Clippers meet the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 19. Putnam will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record.
With the defeat, Lyman Memorial moves to 5-15 on the year.
