Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnewaska Area knocked off by West Central Area

The West Central Area Knights basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 55 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benson for a A Section 6 contest on Tuesday, February 20. West Central Area will battle a team coming off a 84-53 non-league loss to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The record now stands at 11-15.
The Lakers (2-22) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Melrose was defeated by Montevideo (Montevideo, MN), 63-51, in a non-league contest.
