With the victory, Appleton East upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Superior (Superior, WI) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 21-8. Superior won 71-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Lightning play the Oshkosh West Wildcats (Oshkosh, WI) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Saturday, February 24. Appleton North will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 42-37 league win over Neenah (Neenah, WI).
