The Northeast Guilford Rams basketball team (McLeansville, NC), was routed 71-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC)

The Golden Eagles now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host High Point Central for a 3A Mid-State battle on Tuesday, February 20. Ben L. Smith will meet a Bison team coming off a 67-8 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Bison record now stands at 0-23.

With the defeat, Northeast Guilford moves to 9-14 on the year. The Rams host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to meet the Camels in a 3A Mid-State match on Tuesday, February 20. The Camels enter the match with a record of 9-12. Atkins lost 42-36 in their recent league match against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
